The requirement

The client had a pair of manual swing gates that needed to be automated. The completed system needed to secure the entrance after hours, connect with the existing site security system and provide controlled entry and automatic exit without compromising gate safety.

The solution
A fully integrated swing-gate system
Following a site review, Highway Electrical installed dual swing-gate actuators and a motorised lock. Stop blocks were added to prevent over-travel, while a safety loop and photocells protect the gate operating area. The controls were interfaced with the site security system to provide keypad access and timed opening.
